Sarah Eremus
Sarah Eremus is an Associate Attorney at Law Offices of Tahir Mella, P.C. Sarah attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA, where she majored in Spanish and Japanese. She spent her junior year abroad studying at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. After graduating with a B.A. in 2000, Sarah returned to Japan as a Fulbright Fellow to conduct research in Japanese educational psychology.
In 2005, Sarah moved to Las Vegas to begin her studies at the William S. Boyd School of Law. During law school, she participated in the Nevada Immigrant Resource Project and worked as a student-attorney at the Thomas & Mack Immigration Clinic. Sarah also worked as a law clerk at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, where her primary focus was assisting clients with VAWA and U-Visa petitions.
After graduating with her J.D., Sarah worked as a law clerk at the Law Office of Lisa A. Rasmussen, PC, in Las Vegas. There, she worked on both criminal and civil cases, and had the opportunity to assist Ms. Rasmussen throughout an intense, two-week criminal trial in the U.S. District Court for Nevada.
The Philadelphia immigration attorney is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, and, as a Pennsylvania native, is excited to have returned to the Philadelphia area to practice immigration law. She speaks Spanish and Japanese. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cooking, traveling, and attending music and art events.
