Justin R. Silberg is an associate at The Law Offices of Tahir Mella, PC. His addition to the firm brought extensive legal experience in immigration and complex personal injury matters. Justin’s roots stretch to Chicago, IL, but growing up in a Bucks County house with four brothers, Justin considers himself a Philadelphia native.
Graduating with honors from Penn State University in 2004, Justin holds an Economics Bachelor of Science and a Political Science Bachelor of Arts. Before embarking on his legal career, Justin’s credentials were already abundant and diverse, with notable employment with the pharmaceutical and financial industries, and US Senator Arlen Spector. Justin’s professional endeavors continued throughout his enrollment at Widener University School of Law. As a law student, Justin earned the Award of Excellence in Torts and the Public Interest Initiative Recognition Award for his volunteer work with the Veterans Law Clinic. Justin has always felt compassion for individuals who, although wronged by the hands of another, struggle to find relief in the current legal system. At Widener, Justin was a judicial clerk for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division and also conducted research on the refusal of courts to permit recovery of future medical monitoring costs by individuals exposed to asbestos, a cause of mesothelioma cancer.
Justin began his legal career with a well-respected immigration firm in Princeton, NJ then transitioned to civil litigation, working for some of the most prominent personal injury firms in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. His experience includes both plaintiff and defense work, from which Justin has gathered a comprehensive understanding of litigating a variety of personal injury cases, an ability many attorneys lack.
Justin is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, and the US District Court of New Jersey.
