Applying only to Australians, the E-3 visa is very similar to the H-1B visa: eligible persons must have a sponsor for whom they intend to work and must have at least a bachelor's degree. However, under the terms of the E-3 visa, spouses of E-3 visa holders are entitled to work in the United States. And, unlike other professionals visas, an E-3 visa can be renewed indefinitely at two year intervals.
